특정 주에서는 EV 보유자에게 카풀 차선의 단독 이용 권한을 부여하고 있습니다.
특정 주정부의 HOV(카풀) 차선 정책은 친환경 차량에 대하여, 단일 운전자 상황에서도 카풀차선에 대한 이용 권한을 부여합니다.
카풀 차선이 있는 20개의 주들 중에서 13개의 주정부가 특정 조건하에 EV 소유자가 단일 운전 시에도 카풀 차선을 사용할 수 있도록 허용했습니다. 이 권한은 의회의 추가 조치가 없으면 2025년 9월 30일에 만료됩니다.
